Built by students, for the community
Mr. Squeegee started in 2023 when two high school friends — Carson Houg and Gavin Phillips — grabbed a squeegee and a truck and started knocking on doors. What began as a summer hustle quickly grew into one of the Iowa City area's most trusted exterior cleaning teams, now serving more than 1,300 happy customers.
But the part we're proudest of isn't the window count. Mr. Squeegee is powered by hard-working local students, and every job we take on helps put one of them a little further through school. From tuition to rent to everyday living expenses, the work our crew puts in has helped more than ten young people fund their college education — and that number keeps climbing.
